On Thursday 1 October 2026, the Winter Gardens in Blackpool came alive as women entrepreneurs, business leaders, buyers, investors, speakers and partners came together for the first SheChain Live.

There was energy, ambition, laughter, honest conversations and plenty of moments that reminded us why getting the right people in the same room matters.

But SheChain Live was never intended to be just another business conference. We wanted to open doors. Create access. Spark conversations that could lead to something bigger. That’s exactly what began to happen.

From the inspiring journey of Karen Millen OBE to the straight-talking insights of Emma Jones CBE, SheChain Live brought together people who have built businesses, broken barriers, challenged industries and helped others succeed.

Maxine Laceby, Sam White, Ruby Raut, Christine Nichols, Dani Wallace and an extraordinary line-up of entrepreneurs, buyers and business experts shared their experiences, their setbacks and the lessons learned along the way.

Across the Discovery Stage, Growth Lab, ITV Confidence on Camera sessions and exhibition, conversations tackled the challenges that matter to growing businesses.

Winning contracts. Getting into retail. Raising finance. Building stronger teams. Becoming more visible. Finding the confidence to take the next step.

When Conversations Become Opportunities

Sometimes the most valuable conversation wasn’t happening on stage. It was happening over coffee, at an exhibition stand or between two people who might never otherwise have met.

The real measure of SheChain Live isn’t simply how many people attended or how many sessions took place.

It’s what happens afterwards.

We’re already hearing about new contracts, orders, speaking opportunities, buyer conversations and introductions that began at SheChain Live.

For Pamela Aculey, founder of MIXD Reality, the day brought a particularly memorable moment.

After winning Pitch Me Quick, she secured a place at an exclusive Founders’ Breakfast with Karen Millen OBE, Maxine Laceby, Christine Nichols and Dani Wallace.

She also opened an exciting conversation with a national retailer about her products. She’s just one of the women whose SheChain Live experience is continuing beyond Blackpool.

Because the event might last a day. The opportunities can last much longer.

There was something special about the atmosphere. Founders sharing experiences. Buyers listening. Speakers staying to talk. New friendships forming. Old connections being strengthened.

We welcomed guests from across the UK and internationally, including the USA, Poland, Egypt and Singapore.

Whether someone arrived with a clear business challenge, a big ambition or simply the determination to meet the right people, SheChain Live gave them somewhere to start.

The capability is there. The ambition is there. When we create access, extraordinary things can happen.
