Across 12 weeks, you’ll combine expert-led learning with peer support and dedicated one-to-one mentoring, applying what you learn directly to the challenges and opportunities within your own business.

This isn’t about collecting another qualification.
It’s about becoming a stronger leader and building a stronger business.
You’ll explore the areas that have a real impact on growth, from strategy and innovation to engaging teams, reaching new markets and improving how your business operates.
You’ll learn alongside other SME leaders, share experiences, and gain new perspectives from people who understand the realities of running a business.
Alongside this, 10 hours of one-to-one mentoring gives you dedicated time to work through your own business challenges with an experienced mentor who can help you turn ideas into action. You’ll also develop a Growth Action Plan, giving you something practical to take back into the business and continue working on after the programme.
Could it be for you?
Help to Grow: Management is designed for leaders and senior managers of UK small and medium-sized businesses.
To be eligible, your business should:
- be based in the UK
- employ between 5 and 249 people
- have been operating for at least one year
You should be a business owner, chief executive or member of the senior leadership team with at least one person reporting to you.
Businesses with 10 or more employees may be able to send two participants, subject to eligibility.

Help to Grow: Management Essentials
You don’t need 12 weeks to start thinking differently about your business.
Help to Grow: Management Essentials is a free, self-guided online course featuring 17 bite-sized videos, practical resources and real-world examples.
Work through it at your own pace, choose the areas most relevant to you and start putting the learning into practice.
It’s also a great introduction to Help to Grow: Management if you’re considering taking the next step.
