Women and girls need to see real, relatable role models to believe that success is possible regardless of background, education, industry or starting point. That’s why our Role Models showcase celebrates women from all sectors who are driving change, challenging norms and opening doors for others.

These are founders, leaders, innovators, campaigners and changemakers. Some are household names. Others are quietly building extraordinary impact. What they share is courage, resilience and a willingness to step forward so others can follow.

Why Role Models matter

When women see other women succeeding, especially those who have navigated financial barriers, limited networks or non-traditional routes, it changes what feels possible.

Representation isn’t just inspiring, it’s practical. Seeing women who have overcome similar challenges provides:

  • Confidence to start, scale or pivot

  • Proof that background does not define potential

  • A roadmap through real-life experience, not theory

For women from working-class backgrounds, those without generational wealth, or those from ethnically diverse communities, access to visible role models can be the difference between self-doubt and self-belief.

The WIB360 Role Models series isn’t about polished perfection or overnight success. It’s about real journeys, honest conversations and leadership that creates impact in business, in communities and in decision-making spaces.

By amplifying these voices, we aim to:

  • Increase female visibility in leadership and influence

  • Challenge outdated ideas of who belongs at the table

  • Encourage more women to step into positions of power and decision-making

  • Inspire the next generation of women to think bigger and aim higher

This platform also supports wider change. From encouraging greater gender diversity in investment and leadership, to strengthening the pipeline of women shaping policy, enterprise and innovation.
